I’ve been working on a replacement to qlight since I’ve blogged about it — something a bit more self-contained and clean.
I’ve settled on the name monomoy, since I had a lot of the ideas i’ve been using come to me on the real monomoy.
In particular, I’d like for it to support having remote build-nodes, and non-archive upload patterns — I’d like to be able to upload pkg-foo/1.1.2-1 (UNRELEASED) 20 times without bumping the changelog.
Now, my approach and local test-code has been … unorthodox. I’ve decided to throw caution to the wind, and store as much as I can in mongodb, including parsed debian control files.
I’ve recently (this afternoon) added support for build queues, which I hope to build out.
More to come once it’s sane, but it’s working-ish!
